And if so, what are the rules:no nuts/peanuts, or do the treats have to come from nut-free kitchens and have allergen labels on them?Does any shop (AC Moore, Michael's, JoAnn's) actually SELL the…Continue

Just heard JSUMC is restricting kids under 14 from the labor and delivery/maternity ward as a precaution now that enterovirus is in NJ. They did this when H1N1 was a problem for a few months ago a…Continue

We played outside for about 15 minutes after lunch…and after a few hours of running around INSIDE, watching a little TV… I'm out of ideas that don't involve:1) Superhero play2) Coloring3) Having a…Continue

I think my daughter (and son) may like the "fancy" costumes of the figure skaters, but also thinking they would like the half-pipe and aerial skiing events. What will YOU be watching with your…Continue

I have quite a few mom friends who have posted online (not on Momtourage, of course) that they have had this baby struggle, or that difficulty, or some kind of parenting problem. It can be tough to find reliable, affordable babysitters these days. I’m often jealous of my mommy friends who have live-in relatives, or a mother-in-law who lives down the street, or a sibling who loves to watch their nieces and nephews on the weekends!
The problem is that my family doesn’t really have those options, because we have a location-situation with any family-related childcare. One set of grandparents lives in…Continue
