Where local moms share, learn and grow together.

How many moms put their kids needs infront of their own?  I know I do.  When was the last time you counted the number of servings of vegetables you ate that day?  Or insisted you took a nap or got to bed early?  What about when you don’t feel good?  Why do we do all these things for our kids and drop the ball when it comes to ourselves?

As moms we have to take care of ourselves so that we can take better care of our kids.  I know it is hard… who has the time, right?  But start small.  Replace one serving of junk a day, whether it is desert or a snack, with a fruit or vegetable.  Go for a walk, or start going to an exercise class once a week.  Once in a routine add to it.  Find the time for you and it will benefit your kids!

Start this weekend.  Get inspired by the Women’s Expo Saturday and Sunday Nov. 4th and 5th.  Enjoy fitness demos and free wellness screening.  Not to mention the makeovers, wine lounge and fashion show!

This is so on point. I work so hard to make sure that my daughter eats well and gets a full night sleep, but I honestly can say that I do not treat myself as well. Thank you for the reminder. Looking forward to seeing you this weekend at the Women's Expo!

So true, Angie. The kids & family always come first but we can't forget that we are at the core of it all!  Thanks for the reminder!
